In the same year it became the first 707 to land at Tullamarine, Melbourne. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn December 1974, it was used twice to evacuate nearly 500 people form the aftermath of Cyclone Tracey in Darwin. It ceased with Qantas in 1979, and was sold to the RAAF who assigned the tail number A20-627. It was used with 33 Squadron for transport duties, and later converted to a tanker.
